23rd February 2010In his own words
Jack
Would it be possible for you to put a small note on the website to thank ALL
members of the East who have supported me in achieving my goal?
The reason I ask is that the number of messages of support was over whelming
and I think it just proves what a great team the East are.
Special thanks must go to all the assessors and coaches who have guided me
through good and some bad times, I am pleased to say mostly good!
Thanks to Ray for putting me forward and having faith in me, I am just
pleased I didn't let you all down.
Any note you see fit would be appreciated as I would just like everybody to
know how much it has meant to me.
Hope you are keeping well.

Andy
(note: The Assessment and Appointments Committee are always delighted when one of our boys or girls make it to the big time ”EHL” . It is always very difficult to achieve and only a very few make it to the top. However we would be failing in our duty if we did not ensure that those we put forward are ready for the test. We hope like many others before him that Andy will return periodically to his routes and pass on some of the knowledge achieved to those who follow. Can we in our turn thank all those Level 3 umpires who support their junior colleagues by umpiring in the East pool and attending PLUM.)

15th September 2009EXPENSE CLAIM DEADLINES
As last year I would appreciate it if expense claims could be made at Christmas and after the end of the season. This is for ease of administration. However if anyone needs payment more often then do claim it just may not be dealt with quite as quickly.

However, could umpires please keep their expenses up to date, rather than entering them on block at long intervals. We need this information for monitoring the level of expenses compared to budgets.

There will also be a cut off for claiming expenses of 24 May 2010. Any claims made after this date WILL NOT be paid.

Helen Sargeant - Treasurer

15th September 2009EXPENSE CLAIMS
Please note that from this year there will be an administration fee of £10 per claim for anyone being paid by cheque.
Therefore if you have not done so already please advise me (the Treasurer) of your bank account details so I can pay electronically when your claim is made.
Many thanks

Helen Sargeant
